Now
I have a chance
to speak.
But a lot of beautiful, smart, extraordinary people around the world don’t have that chance.
Beautiful, smart, extraordinary people who are persecuted, imprisoned, or killed just because they’re part of our community.
The LGBTQAI+ community has a powerful history, and as a representation of all of it, we have Pride.
Pride Month is not just rainbow clothes and loud parties. It is the time when our voices can be heard like never before.
The time when
we want to say -
we deserve better.
From school bullying to throat-cutting, we are still enduring mental and physical abuse every day, all over the world.
As long as it continues,
we will continue to speak out, and we will fight for our rights.
For our Rights to Love.
